Antoni Gaudi i Cornet it considered as the greatest exponent of Catalan Modernism and one of the leaders of Art nouveau in Europe, despite his architecture envolving into such a personal style that it is quite difficult to classify.
He is today considered as one of the most talented architect in history and his works- seven of which have been made World Heritage by UNESCO.
We will dedicated our tour to the masterpieces of Gaudi:
· The unfinished Sagrada familia, gaudi´s master work; he dedicated 43 years of his life , almost his entire career.
· Casa Batlló, one of the strangest and particular residential building in Europe, imaginative on the formal side and rationalist on the constructive.
· La Pedrera, undulating beast is yet another madcap gaudi masterpiece.
· Park Güell, a failed garden city project transforms into a public park brimming with imagination and symbolism. We can visit also the house where Gaudi lived and reconverted in a museum.
We also have the option to visit another interest building of Gaudi like Casa Vicens, Palau Güell, the Teresian College, Colonia Güell, Casa Calvet, etc.
